Government Certification & Customs Clearance

To ensure full compliance with international laws and prevent any custom delays, every artwork shipped from our studio undergoes an official verification process.

• Ministry of Culture Certification: In accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation "On the Export and Import of Cultural Property," any painting leaving the country must be officially certified.
• The Process: Before dispatch, the painting is presented to an accredited art expert authorized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The expert evaluates the artwork and registers an official Expert Conclusion (Certificate) in the state information system.
• What this Certificate Proves: This document legally confirms that the painting is a contemporary piece of art created by a living artist (Victoria Sapegina), is not an unpermitted state cultural treasure, and is fully cleared for legal permanent export.
• Cost & Time: This mandatory certification process takes 3–5 business days. The cost of this expert evaluation is entirely covered by the artist and is already included in the price of your artwork.
• Documentation: A copy of the expert certificate number is attached to the shipping invoice and customs declaration (CN23) on the package to guarantee smooth clearance through international borders.
